‘Minecraft Earth Beta is Available on Android in five Cities

Just in time the beta test of Microsoft’s augmented reality Minecraft game is ready for Android users to give it the test. Like the beta iOS users have had access to, Minecraft Earth is still restricted to registered testers only and available in just five cities: Mexico City, London, Tokyo, Seattle and Stockholm. According to those already registered, if having trouble with the invite email, try clicking the link on your mobile device instead of on your PC.

The Minecraft Earth beta recently reset its AR playing field and updated to version 2.0.0 on iOS. Crafters Earth reports that the game has introduced familiar mobs such as spiders and creepers, along with a myriad of challenges and adventures. Additionally, the in-game store is enabled so people can use the “Rubies” currency to buy build plates and the accompanying items. A blog post explains that Android users can buy them in the game’s store at present and access to iOS coming in the near future. All money earned or bought will be saved to the player’s account during the beta test phase and when the game is fully launched.
